PHCG staff are active in operational research activities mainly focused on prevention, diagnosis and treatment of tuberculosis and respiratory diseases, with major publications in peer-reviewed journals.

Since 2018 the PHCG collaborates with GTN (Global Tuberculosis Network) to support research activities in resource-limited countries.
